We live, learn and love in His way.

A warm welcome to all who visit our website – we hope you enjoy reading about life in our thriving Catholic school community.

Holy Family is a Voluntary Aided Roman Catholic primary school for children aged 3 to 11. We have eight classes of single year groups, including a nursery class for our youngest children. We have an experienced, dedicated team of teachers, support staff and governors who have high aspirations for every child in our community.

Within our school day, we lead the children in the understanding and practice of our Catholic Faith. We welcome children of other faiths and include provision for their spiritual growth within the overall catholic ethos. All the children play, learn and pray together happily and visitors regularly comment on the nurturing happy atmosphere in our school.

‘Holy Family is an good Catholic school. It is an oasis of tranquillity, love and respect, where all within the school community feel welcomed and supported.‘ Section 48 Inspection.

Within this caring ethos, we have high expectations of children’s academic achievement. Children are challenged and supported to do the best they can in all aspects of school life. Children make good progress during their time at Holy Family, with children of all levels of ability achieving well.

Our amazing children, staff, governors and myself are very proud of our school community. We try to live our lives according to the teaching, inspiration and example of Jesus, and follow our mission statement.

I hope you enjoy finding out more about our school on our website. Please take a few minutes to watch a video about school which will give you a greater insight into life at Holy Family.
